Welcome to The Lodge at River's Edge Located in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin, this elegant home is nestled in the quiet seclusion of great pines and hardwoods overlooking the Menominee River - the boundary waters for northeastern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The Lodge at River's Edge has been especially designed for the comfort, relaxation, and enjoyment of our guests.

Each level features a glass panorama providing spectacular views of breathtaking scenery, abundant local wildlife (eagles, deer, wild turkey, and colorful wild birds), and, of course, the majestic Menominee River.

Accommodations include three spacious guest rooms -- one room with queen bed and private bath, one room with queen bed, and a room with a king sized bed, the latter two rooms sharing a bath and a half.

Relax next to a warm fireplace in our upper or lower great rooms or take in the fresh air on the outdoor sun deck. All facilities are tastefully furnished and equipped for your comfort and well being.

Nutritious, full breakfasts featuring homemade pastries are served daily in either the main dining room, on the sun deck, or on a scenic river boat cruise (weather permitting).

Open year round, the Lodge at River's Edge offers boating, swimming, fishing, tubing, hiking, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and sledding.

Wilderness Adventures are provided in cooperation with Northwoods Wilderness Outfitters, and include canoeing and kayaking, and snowshoeing.

Experience nearby world class, four-season outdoor recreation attractions including; golf, canoeing, hiking, downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobile trails, biking, etc. Nature's Attractions: Nicolet National Forest, Florence Wild Rivers Recreational Area and Spread Eagle Barrens. Directions: The Lodge at River's Edge is located 3.5 miles northeast of Highway US-2 and US-141, between the towns of Spread Eagle and Florence, Wisconsin. A white "arrow" sign marks the turn off. From Highway 2 and U.S. 141, proceed north on Montgomery Lake Road approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Woods Road ("Lodge" sign posted) and follow it 1.5 miles to our private drive - B&B River Lane ("Lodge" sign posted). Continue ahead , another 0.5 miles , to our driveway entrance (lighted "Lodge" sign posted).
